Parachute Chefs and Owners Beverly Kim and Johnny Clark partner with Honey Butter Fried Chicken for the second installment of sandwich collaboration series
(CHICAGO, IL; May 17, 2016) – For the second installment of its Clucker Collaboration series, HONEY BUTTER FRIED CHICKEN® (3361 N Elston Ave) collaborates with fellow Avondale Chefs Beverly Kim and Johnny Clark of neighboring Korean-American restaurant Parachute (3500 N. Elston Ave) to create the Parachute Fire Chicken Sandwich, available at Honey Butter Fried Chicken starting Tuesday, May 24 through Sunday, May 29, 2016.
Putting a Korean twist on the traditional fried chicken sandwich, the Parachute Fire Chicken sandwich comes with fried chicken, gochujang, mozzarella, pickled jalapeño and shredded cabbage served on a buttery bun for $10. $1 of every Parachute Fire Chicken sandwich sold will be donated to Asian Americans Advancing Justice, an organization whose mission is to empower the Asian American community through advocacy, by utilizing education, research, and coalition-building.
