Arjumand Khan

We are excited to welcome Arjumand Khan as Advancing Justice | Chicago’s new Communications Manager!

Arjumand is a two-time Emmy award-winning journalist and media consultant who is a trailblazer as one of the first Muslim women to win an Emmy award from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. She is a leader in Chicago’s Muslim community and has covered breaking news, interviewed politicians and presidential candidates, and worked for all three major broadcast television networks.

Arjumand is passionate about working with Chicago’s underrepresented communities to help them gain recognition and be more civically engaged. As a Community Engagement Consultant, she has used her communication talents to help decision makers and elected officials make informed decisions when serving their community members, targeted audiences, and stakeholders.
