Charlene Choi

Charlene B. Choi (she/her) is a second-generation Korean American who grew up in Indiana and is now based in Chicago. Charlene is passionate about keeping connections to her culture alive, whether it’s through storytelling or community building. In her role as the Development Manager at Advancing Justice | Chicago, Charlene manages and cultivates relationships to connect people and fundraising.

Previously, Charlene worked for nearly six years at Hanul Family Alliance, a nonprofit dedicated to serving Korean American older adults in the Chicagoland area. In her down time, Charlene loves to collect prints, remember inconsequential movie trivia, and pet her very fluffy cat Rosie.
