Christian Taylor

As the Director of Advocacy and Government Affairs, Christian serves as the lead lobbyist for Asian Americans Advancing Justice | Chicago and Asian American Midwest Progressives, representing both organizations on legislative matters, advancing policy campaigns, and convening stakeholders alongside coalition partners and community members.

Before joining Advancing Justice | Chicago, Christian held roles with the City of Chicago Mayor’s Office, the City of Saint Paul Mayor’s Office, the University of Minnesota’s Office of Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action, and the City of Minneapolis Civil Rights Department.

A second-generation Korean American and first-generation college graduate, Christian is an earned his B.S. in Political Science from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
