Jennifer Brown

Jennifer Brown is the Office Manager at Asian Americans Advancing Justice | Chicago. 

Jennifer brings 6 years of experience in critical skills/capacity building in the low-income, POC, and immigrant communities as a youth mentor, adult educator, job coach, and partnership cultivator. She also developed HR policies and operations for her staff and programs that ensured efficiency, strong outcomes, and frontline staff support.   

A 1.5 generation Japanese American, Jennifer holds a BA in Political Science. She is a certified Workforce Professional and Mental Health First Aid Responder. As a former A Just Chi Core Leader, she actively participated in creating Know Your Rights Train the Trainer Workshops for Advancing Justice | Chicago, and to successfully support the passage of the Illinois TRUST Act.
